I know a lot of individual countries have issues with the EU but work from within to fix. If you leave the EU like the UK has, an “independent” country will have a major problem that was part of what motivated membership to the EU – in the coming decades … there will be four MAJOR economic powers (well, actually, there already are) in the USA, Russia, China, and India. Any individual country who breaks from the EU is going to have one helluva time being competitive with them on the global market and lose any clout them may have had as part of the EU! Aside from the fact that nationalism has never led to anything good over the long term, this is a very short-sighted approach that will render ones country a backwater!
