This is right up there with the Bill Gates’ microchip nonsense. There is no reputable evidence for the AstraZaneca vaccine increasing the chance of blood clots. There is a helluva good chance of getting covid-19 causing debilitating or fatal blood clots, and there’s a load of data on that effect.
There’s no effective way to fight a belief based on innumeracy. If I were A-Z, I’d be very morose about this: They have a good product that’s been smeared without justice… but I really don’t see how there’s any way to get past this. Maybe offer it to people who are as yet unvaccinated AND who work in a science / math environment?
If the Astra Zeneca vaccine is not a good proposition, then please explain to me why Italy (and other European countries), refuse to let it go to other countries? Hypocrites all!!
The manufacturers obfuscated, delayed reporting, refused to cooperate from the beginning, failed to file reports, etc. Now they’re claiming persecution.
Maybe it’s Conspiracy Contaminant thinking but it is getting difficult to decipher the news about this. If it is so bad or suspicious, then get another one and ship AZ to the poor countries who are trying to guilt the wealthy ones to believe that they should not be taking care of their citizens first. Seems to be like “national hoarding” especially since some of them want the US to sell them another brand.
I was 2Vacked last month but there’s only about 12% of us so far. I would be very upset if, as one who wanted it but in a lower priority, to learn that my expected date was delayed because a supply went to a third world country or sold to wealthy country.

I’ve heard people claim that there is no more clotting among people than there would be without the vaccine.

Got the all clear today (3/18). Millions of A-Z jabs given and 25-30 folks had blood clots, fewer than occur in the population at large.
