(And unlike tax giveaways and corporate welfare for the rich, what nominal reductions in the tax RATE for workers are temporary and, in any case, are offset by lost deductions and the costs of increased deficits that force interest rates up — good for those who COLLECT interest, not for those who pay interest.)
And many of the products hit hardest will be agricultural products produced in Trump-supporting states (the Chinese have targeted their retaliation to hit Trump supporters). Many markets that sold to China are now seeing RUSSIA pick up those sales, which will never come back. PUTIN WINS AGAIN.
And middle America farmers will be put out of business or suffer enormous losses.
While Trump was LYING about “cow farts” in the Green New Deal to scare farmers, he was busy working with Putin to take over the sales of products that used to be grown, harvested and sold by Americans.

In any case, the farmers and rural folks in general are between a rock and a hard place. They can either support the GOPigs and Failure-in-Chief tЯump☠, who altogether are screwing them to the wall, or support the humiliating “liburel elletes” who are laughing at them yet evermore subsidizing them. Which?
Even if a tariff is applied to my individual purchase, I suspect that ordering directly from China now, may very well be cheaper than paying the giant corporations’ “tax”/profit on their imports before the tariffs. That’s certainly true for eyeglasses (a market dominated by Luxxotica).
There’s not much you can’t buy directly from China on EBay. The shipping is usually free and the prices cheap. You just have to wait 6-8 weeks for it to get here, which usually isn’t a great option.

China only buys soybeans from us cause we don’t manufacture so much, now they don’t want our beans because of Trump’s stupid mouth.
