They’re packing their trunks for the White House. Packing them where, I can’t say.

It’s a good Toles cartoon. Just draw the donkey the same way and you have the american political system in a nutshell.

Face it righties, you blew it.

Your tea-bag candidates came into office on a wave of promises to fix the economy, and then the minute they took office, bang! Forget the economy, we have unions to bust, unborn babies to save, and where’s that birth certificate?

That may play well to the ultra-right, but not to the independent voters, without whom nobody wins at the polls. The indys don’t care about the birth certiificate, don’t want the unions busted, and you better believe they don’t think anti-choice legistlation is the most important issue on the table right now.

The recent tea-party raliy in Madison ( which featured not ONE home-grown speaker, except for Scott Walker ) was literally swamped by a counter demonstration. You wouldn’t have seen that a year ago.

But then, a year ago, the American people didn’t know the Republican Party’s REAL agenda.

( Oh and please don’t start whining about how, ‘union thugs shouted down the tea-party speakers’. Number one, it’s not true, number two, the right never had a problem with that when it was the Tea-Partiers doing the shouting. )

If it has no head, it has no mouth, therefore, it cannot eat and produce stuff requiring shoveling, and eventually it will starve to death. Sounds like another gov’t invention doomed from the beginning.

The worst thing about this is that 50.002% of the registered voters out there will vote for this critter and then wisely claim that the resutls are exactly what they wanted.

Proper degeneration of the “pushme-pullyou”. Double the product the TEA party and neos will swallow.
