It is really hard to leave these days. In the past, an individual could say “I’m going to get my hair cut”, or “I’m going to visit my mom”, or anything like that… and use that as an excuse to get away. Now if someone leaves the house, and an aggresive question is asked “where are you going?”… it is much harder to make up a plausible story.
