People are still using cards? My credit card’s been on my phone for a long time… I can’t remember the last time I used an old-fashioned card…
Sounds like what my cousin did at the start of this century. Maxed out two of them in two locations! And to this day, I’m still reluctant to give her another one!

I now have to insert my card all the time. I wore out the tap feature on my card.
Even ten years ago it would have been, “I wore the magnetic stripe off of my card.” Today it’s more like, “The chip contacts are ablated off,” or even, “The near-field inductor fused.” #totalnerd

Credit cards are wonderful if you use them correctly. If you continuously use them to get a quick loan then you are destined to be poor.
My cards don’t have the numbers impressed into them anymore. No need. No one uses the old paper charge tickets.
