Poinsettia Day. I think we’re supposed to get a delivery of poinsettias at our store today.
National Ring-a-Ding Day. Sorry, I’m falling asleep in my chair and I’m too tired to look it up and see what this means. I’ve already made about 15 typos on this post (and I’m not even exaggerating). I’m going to bed in a few minutes.
Gingerbread House Day. We keep some of our Christmas stock in a covered outdoor area which I call the “garage” because it has roll-up garage-type doors leading out to the patio area where we put plants in the spring & summer. Well, I was working some of that stuff yesterday and I found one box which had been chewed open by squirrels. The squirrels love to rip up the cardboard boxes to build their nests. But this particular box had gingerbread house kits in it. Those confounded squirrels had chewed open the box then they chewed open one of the gingerbread house kits and had themselves a feast. Nothing remained in that gingerbread house kit. The remaining gingerbread house kits, thankfully, were left untouched.
