Religion bias in the media. Hardly a newscast passes without another faith-affirming testimonial to the power of prayer. (Man: God was watching out for me. If he hadn't answered my prayers I'd be dead for sure. Thanks, God!) But others cast doubt upon God's responsiveness (Man 2: I prayed everyday. Donated thousands to my church, but I still died of cancer.) (Man 3: Yeah, God thanks for saving me from that car wreck. Prayer works... not!) Media watchdogs explain the situation. (Man 4: God owns 34% of the media via his offshore holding companies.) (Man 5: Lots of folks pray- but only those who God helps are alive to tell their story.) Will the pro-God bias change? Probably not. (Woman: Sure, God ignores the prayers of a few whiners because he's busy-busy saving lives, that is!) (Man 6: Now she needs smitin!) (Man 5: Later.)
