Achtung, activists! Rent out the bus and print up the placards... It's time to boycott Starbucks! Starbucks: from the outside, it's an innocuous purveyor of mediocre coffee and licensed merchandise. From the inside, the same. Double decaf deluxe dung-accino: $3. Yes, but little do you know - I'm going to be here the entire day. Scratch the surface, however, and Starbucks is responsible for racism, sexism, homophobia, the greenhouse effect, war and poverty: all of it in the world. Really? How's that? Oh, and they've executed Mumia! Starbucks must be destroyed! Grab some markers and poster board and picket your local dispensary of pure evil! Remember: when slogans rhyme, they sound un-trite! Oh, and buy coffee elsewhere. Where? Starbucks is right next to the demonstration...It's just too damned convenient! Plus the free rent is nice.
