I realize that induction to the NFL Hall of Fame boils down to a judgement call. However, there are clearly cases in which the deciding factors depend more on playing on a loaded team than the player’s actual skills. (I’m looking at you, Terry Bradshaw.) Heck, I – and I’m sure a lot of other fans – can name players who were giants in their positions who’s unforgivable sin was playing for a generally mediocre team and others who’s induction would justify the inclusion of another 200 players.
