Val: Holly!? Why are you wearing all that makeup and perfume? Holly: I didn't put it on!! This lady in the department store practically forced me to have a make-over!! She tried to get me to buy all this stuff - I told her you wouldn't approve, but she said she had a quota to fill or she'd be fired!! I think she said she had a couple of kids. Val: You can keep the earrings, but wash off all that makeup and (sniff) gawd-awful perfume. Holly: OK. Alix: Mom's letting you keep those huge earrings?? Holly: It's all in how you ask.
