It amazes me that politicians in Washington are so out of touch to think that us “regular folks” don’t realize that we are totally aware how full of crap they are. Somehow they think we are so naive as to believe all the absolute lies and double talk they put out on a regular basis. It is pathetic.
Yeah. The Pres has nothing to do with a better economy, but everything to do when it’s in the tank. Stock market all time high, housing and manufacturing recovering, low interest rates, unemployment coming back. Remind me again how we got here?
Term limits would fix this. Senate should have two terms and the house should have only three terms. Then they go home and try to make an honest living.
Then, without institutional memory in Congress, the bureaucrats run the government. Sequestration will be like an avalanche. It starts slowly and builds. And once started, its a bugger to stop.
Agree with Mikefive to a certain extent. More should have been done by both sides for the economy when Obama first took office. But it was still the Republicans who said their object was not to help the country recover, but to make sure Obama was a one term President. They’ve backed themselves into a corner, with no good way out, so they blame Obama for helping them get there.

The illegals thing was great! Find more obnoxious things to do to save dollars. What about early pardons for non-violent prisoners? We have a s*load of people in prison at great expense!
Let me see here: Cheney/“W”, and the Republicans demanded a “unitary Presidency” for their guy, got us into two wars, economic nose dive that really crashed in their last year in office, and carried on through the following two years with job losses. Then they said Obama was “weak” and no leader because he wasn’t a dictator like Cheney wanted. Then he authorized the killing of bin Laden and other “bad guys”, turned the economy around a little DESPITE the Republicans fighting him on every point, including voting to pass the “sequester” that THEY actually wrote the rules for in the bill, and now Obama is the dictator (from Kenya of course) trying to run the country off the rails, as the stock market hits record highs, and jobs are returning with the limited progress the Democrats have gotten through, despite all the obstructionism. Hmmm.
I don’t know who came up with the term “worst socialist ever” but the Washington Post has used it more than once to describe Obama.Rachael Maddow had" Worst. Socialist. Ever." on the screen last night.
People would not have to “shovel” money into the market if companies would keep their pension promises. 401Ks, Thrift Savings Plans, etc. are a scam designed to put ALL the burden on the employee, with no risk from the company. As to my misstatement regarding unemployment, remind me again the direction employment was heading when Obama took office?
