   Violet had pigtails in the early years. Lucy rarely wore any type of bow in her hair. And at this point Lucy’s eyes were circles with a dot in the middle.

   But in a side note, the football gag started with Violet and after one time migrated to Lucy.

   How do they determine what strips to run? Last summer we saw July 68 because Franklin was re-introduced. Then in the Autumn we saw early 69.

   At the beginning of this year they restarted 69 and were staying close to the original dates. Now we’re back to July 68.

   You know I was wondering about that when she wasn’t a commentator during the 2014 Olympics. I don’t see any articles that mention her since 2 years ago. What was her webpage isn’t anymore. And her wikipedia page doesn’t have anything after 2011.

   I can understand if you can’t tell girls and boys apart nowadays. But this comic is from 1968. You should be able to tell girls and boys apart in the late 60s…………………...Oh yeah. Ummmmm…….Never mind.
