One of the best songs of all time, and a great pun. Thanks, Stephan!

Soooo there are two Congo nations…

    Per Wikipedia:

“Congo may refer to either of two countries that border the river:

Democratic Republic of the Congo, the larger country to the southeast, sometimes referred to as “Congo-Kinshasa”Republic of the Congo, the smaller country to the northwest, sometimes referred to as “Congo-Brazzaville””

    So is it really 2 + 1 = 21?

This is the first time I’ve read one of these and realized but the second panel that it was a hidden word comic…

I am please to report that I also found all but two of them on the first read through, and sad to report that it took me four tries to count correctly to find them all.

    Well done, Stephan!!!

GoComics… it would be awesome if you have a PearlsPun filter that lets us scroll from comic to comic featuring Stephan’s puns… same UI just showing only comics!

I’m writing this in 2022, remembering when this was in the newspaper in… 2009 (!!!) and how it reminded me then and now how even a few minutes pushing our son and daughter on a swing (ok, sure, then, when they were little) made up for so many extra hours at the office… thank you, Stephan Pastis for all of Pearls, especially this days’ strip!
