   Sprocket might have “helped” Tracy by taking Stiletta out. But Sprocket doesn’t know (yet) that Tracy and Vitamin are good friends.

   I am torn between having sympathy for Sprocket and not.

   Harold Gray killed off Daddy Warbucks ‘for good’ when FDR ran for a fourth term in 1944 in an act of protest (and obvious spite) against the president. As soon as FDR died the following spring, Oliver was brought back as if nothing ever happened. (That also gave Team Tracy a golden opportunity to cast Annie in Simmons Corners with the Annie/DT crossover last year; it made sense, as Daddy Warbucks didn’t exist in Axel’s interpretation of 1944… and Axel, believe it or not, was correct!)

   And yet, DT overall doesn’t bring back characters or villans presumably killed off for real. The Mysta Chimera storyline was a fascinating bend on the concept, but still… Mysta Tracy is still dead.

   Still, even if Stiletta were to come to before the Nitrates leave, the presence of Lena alone would be one hell of an equalizer.

   I would be perfectly fine with the Nitrates going legit. After all, the Patterson Playhouse still needs to be restored after Gruesome’s bombing (perfect opportunity for Silver to reform), and it wouldn’t hurt for the Plentys to have a babysitter for Attitude (just imagine Sprocket in that role… I could).

   Exactly. Stiletta wasn’t hit in the head with the canister but in the chest. But the force obviously threw her into a wall and possibly hit her head but good. She going to be feeling that for a while.

   What would the odds be that a curious Kandikane comes back to the drive-in tomorrow… long after Stiletta makes her move on both Nitrates and leaves with the car (and a hostage Lena)?

   If Stiletta takes out Sprocket, she’ll take out Silver as well. There’s no way she’s going to leave one of them alive or in any condition to say anything.

   I second that. The thick lines bring a frenetic, urgent feel that is most welcome to this very powerful face-to-face between Blowtop and Tracy that the regular line work wouldn’t do justice with.

   If I have any quibbles, it’s that this SHOULD be in black and white. But it’s a very minor one.
