I have to disagree. Luann was listing out landmarks, but those are just places that are notable for existing, not for what actually happens at them.Prudence is giving them an inside look at where New York’s CULTURE actually happens, which is exactly what they need in order to have any idea of what opportunities actually exist for them there. Yes the names are “shocking” but I’m willing to bet not even half of the people on her list are even half as offputting as their names imply.

I can’t help but read everything Marigold says in the voice of Tabitha St Germain.

you people need to do a search for “david the gnome” it’s embarrassing to see people attributing this reference to ancient sculptures. The issue Frazz is bringing up isn’t high art, but iconicism. About the only lawn ornament more iconic than David might be pink flamingos, though one could argue that the pink flamingos are more infamous than iconic. Frazz isn’t claiming that “Hard Day’s Night” is MORE than a pop song, just that it’s one of THE pop songs.

I think it’s more like 1% of people in the entire world, or at the very least, 1% of all the people who have ever even remotely glanced at Mario Bros.

Now the question is A) Is the claims adjuster going to believe that this wasn’t intentionally set, B) Was there some factor that the claims adjuster can use to weasel out and claim that they don’t cover that specific circumstance, and C) Was it really not intentionally set?

okay, Marigold has always struck me as being inspired primarily by Rarity. The poise and unabashed dedication to glamor really capture that same essence. I can’t help but wonder if the Rarity/Spike relationship in any way inspired this Unicorn/Serpent Monster relationship.

As a christian, I’m going to try to give this a positive spin: On one hand, Rat not going to church, and its discovered that he was stealing from church. On the other hand, he was stealing from church, made a point to remove himself from that temptation, and when pressed, honestly admitted to his crime. When you factor in what Rat is like normally… well, I’m putting this down as a win for the god team.
