Knives are already outlawed in the UK unless they are used for work. You can’t even buy a butter knife unless you are 18 unless you are in Scotland. In Scotland you only have to be 16. Ironically, banning knives still hasn’t stopped people from hurting others. It is like they are focusing on the wrong thing… ;-)

“I recently read a news account about a drunk driving accident. There are laws prohibiting drunk driving, yet drunk driving accidents happen repeatedly.”.Your ignorant, one might even say brain dead example, has a huge flaw. Every crime a gun is used in is already a crime. Nobody is saying remove those laws. That is the stupid argument gun control freaks use. Adding more laws to legally obtain an item a criminal has no problem getting illegally does nothing to stop criminal activity. Such a simple concept, yet one gun control nuts can’t quite grasp

    They didn’t work then either.

“We absolutely must get a Constitutional amendment to overturn the disastrous Citizens United ruling and restore democracy to the people.”.You mean back to the unions exclusively.

So, if someone is constantly lying about the reasons for pushing stricter laws, doesn’t it make sense there is another reason for pushing those laws? It is simple. Gun control doesn’t work. I know it. Obama knows it. The gun control nuts know it. So what is the point? What is the logical next step if you try all the different gun control laws and they don’t work?

“In other parts of the world” means the Phillipines. Another gross exaggeration by the left. http://www.businessinsider.com/obamas-approval-ratings-around-world-2015-6

Many on the left constantly try to portray anyone who would want a gun as mentally unfit. They know they can’t win the debate on the facts, so they have to try other, more dishonest tactics.

The gun ban in the UK failed so spectacularly that they have now banned knives in the hopes of reducing violent crime and murder. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.

Sorry. Meant social security account. Anyone receiving benefits who has to have someone manage their benefits for any length of time are who Obama wants to claim are mentally incompetent to own a gun. http://www.latimes.com/nation/politics/la-na-gun-law-20150718-story.html

I am fine with more people to process applications. It is the classifying of people on Social Security who have, for any reason or any length of time, had to have someone manage their benefits being denied to ever own a gun. Liberals like to forget about a little thing called due process. Also, the whole anyone who sells more than two guns better be licensed is BS as well.
