    Actually, I think physical contact was helping him break out of it. Knotty was helping ground his client in the real when the conditioning sadly reasserted himself.

    I believe this entire forum is in agreement that this is the case. Whether they find evidence to support this theory in the desk is what we are in suspense over.

    Exactly what I was thinking. Very clever and more than a little paranoid to make the trigger be the person he/she/it put in jail, but obviously there will be a payoff in the end.
