Graduated from college and law school about 15 years ago. Owed $130K. Still owe about $60K. Will not be paid off until I’m 61 years old, which is 20 years from now. Haven’t ever been able to buy a house and had to decide not to have kids, just because I couldn’t afford it. The kids that have been working as interns for me are facing having about $100K more debt than I did, and I don’t know how they will ever pay it off before they die.
