   long shot guess . that is the Lucranians hitchhikers guide to Earth chapter. Marx has to figure into this somehow either directly of indirectly but cant remember exactly what part he played without going back and reading it over so not sure if perhaps he had a direct hand in any info gathered on Earth and speaking of him im with Darwinskeeper in he food/water dept I got a feeling he or someone should be popping into to pick up Wally and crew sometime soon.

   To inject a bit of humor I dont really read comics online but was really pulled in was the depth Aaron’s story here. That being said the format and the depth of the story is making this like (back in the OLD analog tv days) flipping by Cinamax at 2am and catching a glimpse of a naughty bit thru the static.

   Interesting . . . . I guess the rabbit hole did close . Maybe?

   Brings up some interesting questions…

   The idea that the dittos is the virus or part of did occur to me as well but depending on how firm a grasp Wally has on the dittos and based on the fact the he saw that Holly wasn’t real I would think that he would have seen thru the illusion or at least have had hints but perhaps his control was / is not strong enough. If that is the case I wonder if he gets stronger if hints of an illusion will peak thru. Then again if the dittos were the virus then a simple bio suit wouldn’t stop it.

   ( Maybe a tin foil hat would ? _ )

   As mentioned if the ship is just cloaked by the dittos Wally might be able to see that and get back to it.

   If the ship left this dimension/reality did it do so because it did indeed find that Wally’s control of the dittos was a threat or did it just get what it wanted?

   Also it leaving then emphasizes the next set of of questions I have been wondering since the talk with the AI

   Did the ship in fact appear to them as an opportunity when they stumbled upon it or did it in fact seek them out and was Holly the target or just another opportunity

   Hope your feeling better Aaron, such a great job on the story so many ways this could go!

   well back down the rabbit hole assuming it is still open ( " have fun storming the castle!" )

   Still don’t have a good feeling about Holly’s fate.

   I’m glad someone said what I was thinking I was hesitate to say anything because Holly is such a beloved character.

   That was the main reason why I had a bad feeling about the state they would find Holly in and with Wally’s feelings for Kirbee starting to come out what would happen to Holly. I was starting to think this whole experience would send over the edge and well she might not make it back this time. Holly is a loved character killing her off would not be a popular option but I can see this her going completely nuts and Wally pulling her back might just resolve her issues and take their relationship to the next level.

   I can see where this might lead after they escape it turned out Holly well that isn’t the real Holly and Wally has to go back into the breach and rescue her from not only the dittos but from her self.

   yeah things definitely went red pill on the story but that’s ok there is almost endless possibilities to where the story can go now.

   Honestly when this whole story started I wasn’t feeling to good about Holly, i was thinking they were going to find her in BAD shape. Of course that still may be the case have to see what the truth is and what is illusion

   sorry for the late comment in regards to this but have been so busy.

   I’m really curious to know what exactly is outside the great waste since now we know its not everything and how long have the topsiders know about that and if for a while why the heck are they still in the waste.

   Also not sure if anyone else comment like this, it is just a personal opinion and I’m bias because well its my favorite story of all time but I have really had a Nasuicaa vide about this story. I got it on the story arch when they went looking for the fruit but when it was mentioned that there was an end to the great waste I got it again. I don’t mean the movie (even though it is my favorite) I mean the full story line that was written in the manga.

   I know you can find a bit of something in everything but just my own feelings putting together two stories that I love!

    ah ok. all I could remember without going way back was seeing unmutated males.

    did have an interesting thought what would happen if an unmutated female was pregnant and then mutated would the unborn baby be immune?

    Still dont trust these two without hearing a good reason. The idea of an illness seems most likely being that they made such a big deal about the healing ability.. Oh well guess well find out.
