   Why do you people keep doing this? when I look at the comics I want a break from what a teen may really do. I want to see how I was. And I would NEVER do that. In fact I’d be scared to have a male in my room at age 16. If Greg were to do that I really would stop reading the strip- it wouldn’t be innocent and fun anymore. If you want that kind of thing then go to the site the other person posted earlier. (If the link hasn’t been yanked) And YES I admit it I’m a prude ok!

   If this is true- then there is no point in writing like he is writing to an audience of teens. I only said that because I wanted to give him an excuse. If it’s true that most of his audience have been following him sense they were teens (like me) and are more mature- then I agree with all the other irritated people. If he isn’t marketing to teens then there is no point in having luann stuck as a teen! Go the For better or for worse route and grow them up! Even if it’s slowly like 1 year every 3 or something – at least go faster then 1 year every 10 years.

   What bothers me is people say “Greg says” and indicate a blog somewhere. This actually is hurtful because it takes away hope… I wish he never divulged what he planned for his characters.

   Speaking of the past… I’m reading the past strips right now. I recall some from when I was a teen, but most I’ve forgotten. Aaron was a real jerk! He never really cared for Luann- he got distracted by Tiff even when he had a “real” girlfriend (Claudia) He was just a crush that she needs/needed to get over. Anyway I hope Greg realizes that his audience is much larger then the current crop of teens and does something else with this story. With our current tech. they can easily keep in touch. — Just don’t repeat the other times (Aaron-Luann, Zane-Bernice) where the guy never contacts the girl.

   I wanted to post this yesterday, but it was 9:00 pm by the time I read the comics. People are talking about repetition but has it occurred to anyone that Greg would consider the audience for Luann to be teenagers and thus be writing to a whole new generation? That would explain repeat story lines, a 16 year old reading this right now may have no clue about what happened in the past (Unless they read the past comics on this or another site of course).
