"Disgraceful!" Lucy frowns as she stands in the background and watches Linus and Snoopy dance around on the grass.<br> <br> She glares at them.<br> <br> Lucy waves her arms and cries, "Dance! Dance! Dance!"<br> <br> "That's all you guys ever think of!" She shouts at their backs.<br> <br> As they skip down the street she warns Linus: "If you keep hanging around with that stupid dog, Linus, you'll end up just as worthless as he is! You'll be a nothing!!"<br> <br> She stands behind them. They are impervious to her anger. "Do you hear me? You'll be a NOTHING!!" Lucy cries<br> <br> Linus and Snoopy continue to dance. Linus asks, "Five hundred years from now, who'll know the difference?"<br> <br> Snoopy gives Lucy a big smile as he hops past her. She is taken aback.<br> <br> Lucy walks away with a sigh. "Youth never listens.." she laments.<br> <br>
This was adapted into the TV special “Play It Again, Charlie Brown”, although Lucy doesn’t say “That’s all you ever think of”.
