Each Christmas there is “that” toy that is almost impossible to find unless you’re willing to pay ten times the price on Ebay. When cabbage patch dolls were hot I was so glad I had three boys until GI Joe toys hit the market.
I worked store security for Sears back when Cabbage Patch dolls were the ‘in’ thing! I can remember people lining up before we opened, just to see if any dolls were in stock. When shipments DID come in. we had to guard the pallet as they brought it to the toy department. It was like throwing bread to starving people!
