It’s a rainy Sunday morning here in South Florida. But not stormy, just drizzly. Perhaps I’ll take an umbrella walk today.
I have been meaning to mention an oddity at the “gate house”…that’s the house I often pass by when I walk…the one with the gate in the side yard. The gate is on a paved walkway between the public sidewalk and the home’s back porch, but there is no fence…just a gate. And the past couple times that I have walked by, the gate has been open. Why is the gate open when there is no fence? I mean, one could just walk past the gate on either side of it (the gate) because there is nothing there. Why open a gate when there is no fence? Perhaps I shouldn’t think too much about this…lol!
