I am making a Chinese pork noodle soup for dinner, so you are welcome here as well. There’s always plenty to share. Probably around 4:30 my time, so about the same time as Rita’s.
I have come to a decision about my friends. I asked God this morning to either tell me what he wants me to do or give me peace about keeping quiet. Immediately peace flooded over me, so I am not going to say anything. I am still concerned for her, but it is in God’s hands.
We met with Mike yesterday and spent most of the time just talking. I did take his photos with me and let him decide which ones he wants to keep and we took him outside to see the new car. We ate at the buffet in the hotel, and I haven’t seen him eat that much in a very long time. It was such a change for him from prison food or a sandwich from his workplace. They had everything from Asian to Mexican, prime rib to a dessert bar, so he ate a variety of just about everything. He and Michael had a chance to just talk together for the first time in ages. It was really great. He’ll get another furlough in 3 months and his daughter Anita wants to be included in that one.
My other granddaughter, Kandice has checked herself into a mental health facility for some much needed care. And at the same time, her daughter Kelsie has developed a cyst on her chest at the base of her neck. She will see a specialist sometime this week. Please pray for both of them.
