Another beautiful morning here. Low 70’s outside and everything open to the breeze. Aaaaahhhhh.
We’re having an ongoing dispute with Fed Ex. Last Friday, Fed Ex delivered a package from Sam’s Club that is not ours. The address is correct, but it belongs to someone else (a former tenant?). Michael didn’t notice in time to refuse the package, so he spent about an hour on the phone with Sam’s and got a return authorization and shipping label to send it back. They were supposed to have called Fed Ex for the pick up. When no one showed up to pick up the box by Tuesday, I called and arranged for a pick up yesterday. We got a call about 1:30 saying that the driver couldn’t find our address. Mind you I gave them the right one and it was confirmed on the phone on Tuesday. So I called back and told them to get back here and get the box (it’s about 2 1/2 feet by 18 inches by 18 inches and weighs close to 100 pounds). They informed me that they are not allowed to schedule a pick up for the same day and I would have to wait until today to have it picked up. Alternatively I could take it to a Fed Ex facility. I told him that I couldn’t lift the thing and they had better figure it out because it was not my fault that they messed up. So he talked to the dispatcher (who probably told him to deal with me) and then told me that the dispatcher would try to have the driver stop back by but in the meantime gave me another confirmation for a pick up today. Well guess what. The box is still sitting out on my front porch. What gets to me is that my neighbor saw the driver stop for about 5 seconds out in front of our building where this huge blue box is sitting. What? He couldn’t see it? Arrrrghhh!
Good morning, Vagabonds.

Okay, rant over.
Everyone have a blessed day.
