I can still remember most of what I learned in school. One thing I would have to relearn is geography. When I studied it, many countries had Dutch, French, British or Belgian in front of their names.
At one point, I made the wallpaper on my computer a map of Africa and at another time, the Balkans. Both have changes significantly since I first learned about them. I also made a special study of the “Stans” that used to be part of the Soviet Union. At least now, I can “place” a country in my mind when I hear about it on the news.
