Now we are all paying the piper.

and in doing so he destroyed the reputation of the FBI. He is unfit for service, but handed the office of the president to an unwanted minority vote whiner. The Republican leaning partisan hack Comey did as much as he could to sway the election toward Trump. This will permanently damage the FBI reputation when it comes to staying out of elections. No one has done more damage to the FBI than Comey.

I’d have expected an other theme today.

It would be interesting to read the minutes of the staff meeting during which he made that decision. “Doing a Comey” might become a future buzz phrase, as in CYA with disastrous consequences.

Destroying democracy made him ‘mildly nauseous’.

Considering his “revelation” was a lie and the omission of investigating into Trump’s own people over Russian contacts.

Comey assumed there was going to be something incriminating in those emails. He assumed Hillary to be guilty before any hard proof.
