I think about that when folks speak of Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Perpetuate segregation? Celebrate the history of segregation??
My son tried to join the minority club back in high school. They metaphorically stood in the doorway and metaphorically cried out “segregation now, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever.”
(We’re big on metaphors, metaphorically speaking.)
