Were it not for the fact that I live in New Mexico, and would prefer not to move, I would be more than willing to abrogate the Treaty of Guadalupe-Hidalgo and would be willing to advance Mexico a substantial amount to take back Texas, Arizona and Utah – in my opinion all are worthless or near worthless as states of the Union and America would be well rid of them.
Actually, America made a colossal mistake in allowing the states of the failed confederacy back in the Union – but I suppose it’s too late to correct THAT blunder as well – all those former traitorous areas should still be territories, if THAT.
We would be much better served having D.C., Guam and Puerto Rico as states rather than the traitors.
