And yes, sometimes people abuse their rights. But until they do no one has the right to deny them what is theirs by nature and by law. All creatures enjoy the right to defend themselves. To suggest that self defense is somehow wrong is absurd. If you choose to depend on someone to protect you that’s fine. But don’t inflict your sheep-like mentality on those with the courage to care for their own simply because the thought of conflict causes you to wet yourself.
