As for the previous poster’s comment that Friedman’s economic theories (meaning free-market economics) have caused human misery, this would be thigh-slappingly funny if it weren’t so pathetic. Despite everything, the leftists still cling to the articles of faith that capitalism brings poverty and socialism brings justice when history shows overwhelmingly that capitalism brings prosperity wherever (and to whatever degree) it is actually tried and socialism brings stagnation at best and famine, war, and gulags at worst.
If you’re going to “check out” anything, make it “Atlas Shrugged” and “Capitalism: The Unknown Ideal” by Ayn Rand to learn that capitalism is the only moral social system.
