While I agree to being anti-war, but not a pacifist, I’m also reminded of the guys at the end of the parade with the shovels and garbage cans. You must have enough shovels and cans to do the job, and the current mess requires quite a few. We need to get out of the mess, and a lot of the press has suddenly switched to the “have you stopped beating your wife” mode, with an administration trying to pretend there were no horses ahead of them. Maybe if the “charge of the light brigade” had been the “restraint of the un-bright brigade”, we’d be better off?

alvmitchel - I think you’re right. The line is more like a Herblock-style charcoal than Danzigers usual tight inked lines.
