Don’t Moslems “keep kosher”? They call it something else, for sure, but it’s the same old no dog meat, no pork, no shrimp, no cream sauces, and so on. I suppose they don’t (mostly) go to the absurd extremes of the Conservative Jews who (on the basis of the stricture against cooking a kid it its mother’s milk) also object to frying an egg in butter, and insist on using separate dishes and preferably separate cookware for “dairy” and “flesh” food, and even if possible separate kitchens (ideally at opposite ends of the house).
