Israel came out ahead this weekend. Iran’s weapons were no match for their air defenses and Bibi will likely get some worldwide sympathy. Well, except from the jihadists, including the ones in the US.
US allies should be very concerned. Biden’s “attack within certain limits, minor incursions are okay, and DON’T” foreign policy has emboldened the world’s bad actors.
Taiwan might be the next country to receive a “minor incursion” with Biden’s approval.
Iran was retaliating for an Israeli attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus, Syria, in April. That attack killed 16 people, including an Iranian general. Another violation of international law.
I wish our current message of “We don’t want further escalation”, or “we don’t want a war with Iran” would stop. Replace with “If you threaten Israel, or the U.S. (including our soldiers scattered across the middle east, we will destroy you”. Appeasement does not work with these pinheads. Grow a spine, or a set, and stop this nonsense. And for those with a short memory, since late last year, Iran’s Proxies have launched attacks over 125 times.
Been watching the drone war unfold in Ukraine, the technology is advancing rapidly. Iran launched 300 missiles and drones this weekend, escalate this and they could easily launch 3000. Any missile defense system can be overwhelmed. Why do you think we gave up Star Wars? War with Iran will make Iraq look like a picnic.
Oh, please don’t be so dramatic. Isael is probably the most militarily powerful country in the Middle East, thanks to US. So, don’t make out that Israel is so defenseless.
