Another difference. The old Heart would be jealous right now while in denial. Definitely a whole new strip.

There was this book I read about, that had lots of research about what you actually got when you ordered the stuff in old comic book ads. I wish I could find the name of that book…

Let me guess: your mom invented X-ray specs.

That… looks like a book. Not an old comic.

Sorry for having to tell you this Dean, but those things don’t work. And btw, “Sea Monkeys” are brine shrimps that don’t look remotely like the cute cartoon characters in the ad.

I remember the comic ads from the ’70s: garlic and red hot chewing gum, the X-Ray specs, hand buzzer, spy camera, see behind specs, ant farms, model rockets, the old Charles Atlas ads etc……… I also remember those comics were 25 cents or so (circa 1975). I often wish I could go back to that simpler time……

X-Ray specs. You’re just looking through a feather.

The old x-ray glasses “for seeing under girls clothes” Ad or is a more sophisticated Ad?
