Heart: Mom, if I go in a time machine to the past and take pictures of historical events... Heart: ...can we put them up for sale on Ebay when I come back? Mom: Sure. Heart: Any special tax issues I need to be made aware of? Mom: Let's cross that bridge when we come to it.
Well, not necessarily. If one didn’t interfere with events or was insulated from the past or future, then there wouldn’t be any change to the current reality. But if you did enter the past and interacted with events, the change had already been made and your current reality accounted for your appearance in the past, so nothing in your current reality changes.Same for the future, future reality later than your appearance would always account for your appearance, since it had been done. So no change to the future, either. You would know this it you had actually read Science Fiction and not got your si-fi or sci-fi from really bad TV shows. I’m not disrespecting your comment because you were immersed in your own culture of TV entertainment. Either because of a change you that had been made in your past reality or a change that you would do in your own future. As some Science Fiction writers pointed out, we will need new verb tenses to deal with events in time travel.I know this because I am a time traveler. I am on a journey to the future. As I get older it seems that time has speeded up, though.
