Happy INDEPENDENCE DAY! Never let us forget the keys to the creation of our country. Our Rights flow from God, and are not “granted” by a ruler". A proper Government is created by the people. People do not exist to serve a government or the state. The government is designed to defend our natural rights and should have limited powers that operates under rule of law with equal justice.
Actually the sexist and racist framers meant exactly what they wrote, except for the omission of “white” before men. And our deplorable Supreme Court is determined to return us to those days.

If you’re not a different species, then “Men” is correct! Yes, they could’ve put “human”, but technically, “Men” is still correct.
