I figured if I end up in a old folks home, when the nurse or other help comes in and ask “What are you doing?” Answer’s always the same for everyone “I am waiting to die.”
There was a “Brit Com” on PBS about old folks living in a retirement community who were up to all sorts of shenanigans. It was called “Waiting for God”.
I can understand encouraging young people to eat healthy. But I figure by the time a person is at the point where they’re living in a nursing home, what’s the point of trying to live longer? Let them enjoy whatever years they have left! (My M-I-L’s only enjoyment left is eating. Believe me, her health at 85 makes her want to hurry death, instead of delaying it.)

A nice leafy green vegetable would have been nice. And leave that skin on the chicken!
