    You have the right to an attorney: if you cannot afford an attorney one will be provided for you. You have the right to sing the blues. You have the right to cable TV, etc.

    This is nonsense and ignorant. I’m still stunned at how low fines at libraries really are. The point is if you steal a library book - you’ve stolen public property. The library may or may not press charges but they do not have ‘police’. Usually, they try to get the book back.
