A Mother's day poem by Norman, Patrick and Penny You cook breakfast for us every day of the week, and do so without a complaint. Pancakes and bacon, sausage and eggs, our mother's indeed quite a saint! But today is the day that we honor our mom so we did the cooking instead. Waffles, french toast and eggs over easy, we hope you like breakfast in bed! Now we don't mean to spoil this wonderful day, but there's something that we must confess. We're not good at cooking, and not very neat, so the kitchen is kind of a mess! The milk got spilled, the batter splattered, our hearts are all filled with sorrow. But today is your day, mom, so we must insist, don't clean it all up till tomorrow! Norman says, "And we mean it, too!" Patrick says, "Good luck getting the grape jelly off the ceiling!"
