One of Grandad’s best selling flies. Here, fish-fish. Just a woolly-worm that fell in the crick. No hooks here, nope. Some fish take some convincing.

We just got 4 inches of snow. It’s going to be a long winter.

You know our snow has been less since i bought a snow blower. IT´S A THING

Woolies! the bigger the brown the milder the winter…. or maybe the other way around…

We have a Wooly Worm festival in the North Carolina mountains. Kids enter them in a race, and the winner determines the weather. Black Wooly worms have strips of brown, and they indicate cold and warm weather. They are as accurate as most weather people.

Looks like it’s dressed for a cold one.

It’s going to be snowy and cold ……. with some warm day (relatively) and possible rain/mixed ……. but over all a typical winter …… :)
