Oh yeah, well when I was a pup..oh wait a minute…..darn it.
I used to bicycle to school as a grade schooler back when such thing were less scary. (ca. 1960) Coming home the E Santa Ana winds made it very difficult.
I actually do walk uphill both ways on my way into town. Of course, I walk downhill both ways, too.
