Susan – when we were kids, we’d play “Lock your sibling in the trunk of Dad’s car”. Probably not the nicest (or brightest) thing to do on a hot summer day.
What occurred of today’s strip is that Avis was not as flashily dressed as usual. Sure, she has the skinny jeans (Ballard Street style- ONLY LEGS are skinny with balloon-like form) and Purple jacket (which some older ladies favor).
I have no photos of it, but my red microfiber jacket (to which I sewed huge sequin parrot appliques) would be to her liking, I’m sure. I plan to find a motorcycle helmet to match it by the time my friend fixes up his bike again.
