Just “jet lag”, is all…. A little rest and calibration of the ol’ thinker and routine, and she will get adjusted to the place….. it’s just so “foreign” to her…..

One could have ten degrees in child psychology, but would still have to learn how to deal with actual children.

When I was in school they just turned us loose to riot for a few minutes. Then maybe we could sit still ion class. I think it just wound us up

That will be me Wednesday after having my 3 kids(12,7,5) and my cousins 2 kids(4,5) for a few hours while my aunt who usually keeps my cousins kids goes to the hospital for testing. My house will look like a hurricane hit it when it is all over. I’m still looking for my sanity from the last time I had all 5 kids. I don’t have a psychology degree, but somehow I don’t think it would help anyway. What I will need when summer is over is a psychiatric ward for ME!

Back in my younger days (when my boys were 10,9 and 8) I was a Cub Scout den mother and had 5 in addition to mine every week; no problem. They DID make a bit of a mess the time I had them making hard candies for Christmas gifts (all that sugar!)

That 8 YO was 50 this year.
