Ah but the good news is, these days when people get married, they are statistically much more likely to stay married than 30 years ago or so. True, they’re a little older, but they are also much better prepared to face life together.
What should they be ashamed of? Having a commitment that’s kept them together, raising their daughter? But if it makes you feel any better, I think there are plenty of people who still put a lot of effort into shaming others who don’t live the way the self-righteous want them to. You aren’t toiling away by yourself.
Too true for the times we live in. Poor kids..who have to pay for their parents mistakes. Marriage should come first and then the kids. Warped society. Let’s all return to the 50’s.

At a local hospital, out of 1743 live births last year, 40 were to married couples. God help us…
