Actually, Obama compares himself to Lincoln. He compares himself to lots of famous presidents, but in comparing himself to Lincoln, he thinks it brings the image of being a “uniter” to his character. Amazing since he seems to accomplish the exact opposite.
I still consider Lincoln to be one of the greatest presidents this country has known. Wonder what else he might have accomplished if his life hadn’t been cut short.
