Expanding on what Doc Toon said – it’s not just politicians, people lie, they dissemble, they omit. Some more, and bigger lies than others. But it’s an all-too human failing.
It is a little sad seeing Drew disillusioned by Lorraine’s back-stabbing – I’m one of those somewhat naive people who tends to trust other people and their motives, and end up in the same position – feeling stung, and foolish – when it proves not to be the case. But it is a great story line.
