How about getting up and walking toward the door.

Only time I ever walked out on a check was at a Perkins. We got our drinks, almost 20 mins later she came back and took our order, did not refill now empty drinks. Another 20 minutes went by and we got our food, still no refill on empty drinks even after we asked. Never saw her again. Period. It was us and another couple of other diners. Once we finished we waited for another good 15 minutes to get the check. After getting up and walking around to find a waitress…any waitress I gave up and we gathered our things and left. Never been back. Heck during our ordeal we watched several people come in wait to be seated, wait some more and then just turned and left. Worst service ever.

Hmm, nice change. It’s been a while since I’ve seen a RLA comic inwhich the man and woman ‘support’ each other. It’s usually wise cracks thrown back and forth.

Glad you liked it, Skeeterhawk. We don’t really try to be wisecracky. It’s just that Gary and I and our wives are wise-crackers, and it’s the nature of our relationships. We’ll try to do more bipartisan comics.

Hmmmm……. Perkins….. We had one in town and we went once. They seated us and we never saw a server. After 20 minutes we left and Perkins went on my black list. We never went back and they closed up.

Oh, they must be at our local Olive Garden. Service at ours is horrible. Takes forever to get a waiter to take your order and forever to get the food. Then you have to wait longer for the bill.
