I find it interesting that it’s the Republicans, going back quite some time, who’ve always considered “their record” to be “an attack”. Some Democrats DO have the problem, but “attack” works with the idiot public, far more effectively than facts, or honest statements of position. Even quality candidates, from EITHER SIDE, are trapped by “media pundits”, into going negative, or the “pundits” will!

I’m with you here. I can hardly wait until it is over. I think we ought to have campaigns limited in terms of time. Unending campaigns interfere with getting things done. In 2008, media people were speculating on who would run this year by the middle of November. Gads!
